Skin type: All skin type. If your skin is sensitive or reactive, patch test first and introduce gradually

When: Daily, after cleansing and before your moisturiser

Good to note: Pigment actives can raise sun sensitivity, so daily sunscreen is essential

How to use

Morning: Smooth two or three drops over clean, dry skin, before your moisturiser. Always follow with sunscreen.

Evening: The same two or three drops after cleansing. Daily use is where the tone evens out.

The Science

Dark spots can become more noticeable when the skin produces excess melanin in response to sun exposure, breakouts or irritation. Pigment builds up when the enzyme tyrosinase pushes skin to overproduce melanin. Kojic acid works by slowing that enzyme, while licorice supports the same pathway and eases the inflammation that often triggers dark spots. Together they address uneven tone closer to its cause, not just the marks already on the surface.
